About us
Kujawsko-Pomorskie Association „Europa Kujaw i Pomorza” is a form of regional partnership of the entities of local government of the Voivodeship of Kujawsko Pomorskie Region. The Association fulfills its tasks with the cooperation of the Information Office of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in Brussels and the Association’s Office in Toruń, which is also its headquarter. Association “Europa Kujaw I Pomorza” currently brings together 40 local self-government entities.
Objectives
- Representing the interests of the entities of the local government of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in Poland and abroad, particularly in the countries of the European Union;
- Promoting social, economic, cultural and environmental qualities of the region;
- Helping the development of the local communities by building the administrative potential of the different units of the local government of the Kujawsko –Pomorskie Voivodeship: The Association also assists other legal entities and organizations from the region in effective usage of financial resources of the European Union by organising the internships and study visits,
- Promoting the European integration and development of co-operation between the communities through the participation in the international projects aimed at building the strong position of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship in the European Union;
Main Activities
- Training programs for employees and councilors for regular members of Association;
- One-month internships in Brussels;
- Foreign study visits and trainings for supporting members of Association;
- International conferences - good practices exchange;
